The authorities of University of Lagos (UNILAG) wishes to announce to all newly admitted postgraduate students that the annual orientation programme of the University will hold as follows;

Date: Thursday, April 16, 2015.

Time: 10:00 a.m.

Venue: Main Auditorium, UNILAG, Akoka.

The programme which has the theme: Unemployment in the 21st Century, Prospects for Creating Wealth, will feature various interactive and informative sessions.

Dignitaries expected at the event include the management team of the University led by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Rahamon A. Bello, FAEng; Dean, School of Postgraduate Studies, Professor L. O. Chukwu among others.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ATTENDANCE IS COMPULSORY FOR ALL FRESH POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS.

UNILAG Scam Alert – Beware of Fraudsters

The authorities of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) wishes to inform students of the institution that they are to ignore any individual who demands for cash to upgrade their scores/results or Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).

Anyone that promises a student such favour is a FRAUDSTER.

PLEASE NOTE that the university has zero-tolerance for payment to upgrade scores/results. In-case you are approached for such, please report it to the Dean, Students’ Affairs Division OR Security Unit.

1. Take risks with your brain. Have you become a Scrabble master, able toss out 40-point words even when your rack looks like EEIOAUC? Fine, congratulations. Now go become a Sudoku master. When you reach that goal, move on. Become a Go master, or chess expert.
