UMYU Announces 2014/2015 Registration Deadline

Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU) school authorities have announced the registration deadline for the 2014/2015 academic session. All students of the institution that are yet to register for the session are hereby informed to do so before the expiration of the deadline.

The management of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU), Kastina wishes to inform all undergraduate students of the institution that registration for the 2014/2015 academic session ends on Friday, 8th May, 2015. The authorities also wishes to bring to fore the fact that any student who fail to register by 8th May, 2015 will be assumed to have voluntarily withdrawn from the institution.

ADSU Announces 2014/2015 Resumption Date

ADSU resumption date for the 2014/2015 acadeemic session has been announced. All students of the school as well members of the public are hereby informed.

The management and school authorities of Adamawa State University has announced the re-opening of the institution. The institution was shut down following attack by the Boko Haram insurgents.The school have fixed a new resumption date for all of her students to resume for the the 2014/15 academic activities.

According to information students are expected to resume on June 8th, 2015.

About UMYU

Umaru Musa Yar’Adua University (UMYU), formerly Katsina State University was established by the Katsina State Government out of the desire to improve access to higher education for its citizenry.

The law establishing the Katsina State University was passed by the Katsina State House of Assembly on 5th September 2006.  The University commenced academic activities in January 2007 with three faculties(Education, Humanities & Natural and Applied Sciences), and 16 undergraduate programmes. The university will build upon existing academic strength, a total of 13 faculties, 76 departments and 236 academic programmes (undergraduate and postgraduate) at the end of its 25 year period of it’s academic phasing, which is divided into four years each.
