In this tutorial, we will be exploring oral English with a focus on candidates preparing for the United Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The Test of Orals makes up a part of the English language paper of the UTME and according to the JAMB UTME syllabus, candidates should be able to make distinctions between vowel types, differentiate between consonant types, and identify correct accentuation in individual words and connected speech. By the end of this tutorial, you should be confident enough to do most of that.
