About MMEG

Financing women’s education is at the core of our programs. Investing in the education of girls and women is one of the most effective ways to reduce poverty and stimulate economic growth. At MMEG, we strive to empower women from developing countries through educational grants. We believe that education is essential to empowering women with the knowledge, skills and self-confidence necessary to reduce poverty, improve environmental sustainability and protect human rights.

Scholarship Details

The Margaret McNamara Educational Grants (MMEG) provides grants to women from developing countries to help further their education and improve their lives.

This scholarship grant is worth approximately $15,000 and it is a onetime award to last for the duration of study.

Value Of Award: Approximately $15,000 per scholarship recipient

Eligibility: To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

  • be national of a country listed on the MMEG Country Eligibility List
  • be Female
  • be at least 25 years old at time of application deadline
  • be enrolled at an accredited academic institution when submitting application; and plan to be enrolled for a full academic term after award of the grant by the Board.

    I hope to get scholarship. , as female from developed country of Yemen my name is Elham Taha Alhoothi as female no encourage for woman to complete higher studies in our society we suffer from both fighting Eduction of woman , war by Suadi Arabia not only that , but also we suffer from sectarian war between parties that guided country into conflict otherwise , so difficult to complete education. According to my academic. Achievement in certificate , it is about average 63% of percentage . Please could provided me it is possible to get Finincial Aid and scholarship to complete education .
