Latest: YABATECH Issues Stay at Home Notice to Staff and Students

Prior to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, the management of the Yaba College of Technology has issued a memo directing all staff and students of the institution as follows:

i. Staff on CONTEDISS 11, CONPCASS 06 and below are to stay at home with immediate effect for five (5) weeks.

ii. All staff on essential duties are to report for duty as appropriate.

Finally, all staff and students are advised to take necessary precautions to protect themselves from this rampaging Coronavirus (Covid-19) and adhere strictly to the protocols of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).


Earlier: YABATECH Notice to Students Without ID Cards

The management of the Yaba College of Technology, YABATECH has released a notice to all students in the institution without ID cards. The notice as released by the management reads;

Information reaching the admissions department from some students/School Officers has it that some 2018/2019 and 2019/2020 students are yet to be issued identity cards.

In view of the above, all School Officers are kindly requested to compile the names of the affected students in their respective Schools, stating their year of admission, matriculation numbers and respective programmes.

Furthermore, all affected students should re-upload passport photographs (150 by 150 red background) on their students portal latest by Monday, November 30, 2020. Failure to comply with the above directive will attract penalty payment of One Thousand, Two Hundred Naira (N1,200.00) by defaulters.

Compiled list of concerned students should reach the Admissions Office on or before the close of work on Monday, November 30, 2020.
