Osun State University (UNIOSUN), Osogbo hereby duly invites applications from all suitably qualified candidates for admission into Part-Time Degree Programmes for the 2015/2016 Academic Session for the following available programmes:

DURATION:

O’ Level Certificate Holders – Five (5) years
Direct Entry (NCE/ND/IJMB/A’ Level) – Four (4) years

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS & CRITERIA

Candidates seeking admission into Osun State University (UNIOSUN) PART-TIME must possess five (5) ordinary level credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language. For candidates pursuing courses in Sciences, Engineering, Management and Social Sciences, credit pass in Mathematics is compulsory from any of WASC,NECO, GCE or NABTEB obtained at not more than two sittings.

DIRECT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS & CRITERIA

Prospective candidates for Direct Entry must possess five (5) credit passes in ‘O’ Level in relevant subjects and at least Lower Credit of National Diploma or at least Merit in NCE; candidates with two Advanced Level/IJMB Passes in relevant subjects with three other ordinary level credits are also qualified for Direct Entry admission.

METHOD OF APPLICATION & INSTRUCTIONS

• Visit the UNIOSUN PART-TIME portal via http://www.uniosun.edu.ng or http://chrdportal.uniosun.edu.ng This will take you to the Online Application Platform.
• Ensure you read all the registration guidelines and instructions before proceeding to register.
• Payment of N10, 000.00 for the UNIOSUN PART-TIME online Application Form is through the UNIOSUN Interswitch WebPAY platform.
• Complete the online application form, print and bring the printout along with photocopies of your credentials for all examinations taken, on the day of screening exercise.

SCREENING DATE & SCHEDULE

Screening will take place on 29th August, 2015 at the Main Campus, Osun State University, Osogbo.

All candidates are expected to arrive at the screening venue by 10.00 am

Candidates who were offered admission last session and paid Acceptance Fee when the Programme could not take-off need not apply but should only write to the Registrar indicating their interest to continue in 2015/2016 Academic Session.

About UNIOSUN

Osun State University (UNIOSUN) was established by Osun State Government pursuant to the University Establishment Law passed by the State House of Assembly in December, 2006 and signed into law by His Excellency, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola. The National Universities Commission having reviewed the requisite documents, granted approval and formal recognition to Osun State University as the 80th university in Nigeria and 30th State University.
