Sequel to the directive of the Federal Government to tertiary institutions in the country to resume academic activities after the long break occasioned by the Coronavirus pandemic COVID19, the management of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has directed all its staff on CONTISS 01 to 09 to resume to their duty posts with effect from Tuesday, October 20, 2020. Other senior staff members have since returned duties with the partial easing of the pandemic in July.
This was contained in a memo to the University community by the registrar, Dr. Fola M. Olowoleni, dated October 12, 2020, and made available to UNILORIN bulletin.
The memo which directed the staff to resume their normal duty from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm each day, also urged them to adhere strictly to the logistics and non-pharmaceutical protocols as advised by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and National Center for Diseases Control NCDC
