UNILAG Post UTME Screening Details for the 2017/2018 Session
The University of Lagos online registration for the Post UTME Screening Exercise for Admission into ALL COURSES/PROGRAMMES for the 2017/2018 Academic Year will commence from 31st August –
15th September, 2017 Friday, September 22, 2017.
Candidates who made University of Lagos their first choice in the 2017/2018 UTME and scored 200 and above are eligible for screening. In addition, candidates must possess five (5) credit passes at one sitting in relevant O/level subjects including English Language and Mathematics.
Candidates, who will not be sixteen (16) years of age by 31st October, 2017 are not eligible and need not apply.
Candidates who do not participate in the Post UTME Screening will not be considered for admission.
SCREENING FEE – N2,000
Eligible candidates should log on to University of Lagos website https://unilag.edu.ng Then, take the following steps:
Click on Admissions
Click on Post UTME Application
Login with UTME number as username and surname in lowercase as password
Generate and print payment advice
Proceed to any commercial bank to make payment or pay online
Return to the University portal, upload passport photograph and complete the application form
Print Post UTME Examination Pass
Post UTME TEST
Post UTME aptitude test will hold between 18th and 22nd September, 2017.

UNILAG 2017/2018 Post UTME Screening Dates
The management of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has rescheduled 2017/2018 Post UTME Aptitude Test to hold from Wednesday 4th to Friday 6th October, 2017.
Candidates should generate new examination passes from Thursday 28th September, 2017 and come to the test venue with two coloured copies of the examination passes.
GSM phones and other personal belongings are not allowed in the test venues.
UNILAG Notice To 2017 Post UTME Candidates On Uploading Of O’level Result
The management of University of Lagos (UNILAG) wishes to remind 2017 Post UTME candidates that they are to login to the applications website and enter their O’level grades, which will constitute a component part of the overall results.
Any candidate that does not comply with this directive will have an incomplete overall result and will consequently not be eligible for admission.
Candidates are therefore advised to take this piece of information seriously and comply accordingly to avoid outright disqualification.
About UNILAG Post UTME Screening and Examination Format
A Post UTME exam is a recognized exam that higher institutions in Nigeria conduct for students who apply for higher education admission in Nigeria. Each university organizes and conducts her own post UTME exam but for a candidate to take part in this exam, the candidate must have applied to the university, wrote JAMB exam with a score equal to or above the general JAMB cut-off mark and university cut-off mark.
The prestigious University of Lagos popularly known as UNILAG is known for having a large number of applicants each year for admission into the school. For the most of UNILAG post-utme screenings, more than 30,000 candidates apply via JAMB for the Post UTME
The first important thing to know about UNILAG’s post-UTME screening examinations so far is that it is usually a Computer Based Test (CBT) that consists of three (3) subjects only for all students: Mathematics, English Language and General paper or Current Affairs. The University of Lagos (UNILAG) usually sets questions on these three subjects for all students irrespective of the course you have registered for in your JAMB and its subject combination.
The format of UNILAG post utme exam (number of questions per subject) is as follows:
English Language = 20 Questions
Maths = 20 Questions
Current Affairs =10 Questions
Total = 50 Questions
Time to take Test = 30 Minutes.
Total Post UTME Score = 100 Marks
