Unfortunate! UNIJOS ASUU Has Begun Strike Action [Photo]

We are really displeased this morning to announce that the University of Jos (UNIJOS) has just today commenced an indefinite strike action as has been intended by the school’s ASUU.

This was earlier warned by the school as they issued bordering on staff welfare. All academic and nonacademic activities have therefore been suspended till further notice.

The ASUU Chairman, UNIJOS, Prof F. C. Piwuna, in a statement earlier released said that the action was approved by the ASUU’s National Executive Council (NEC).

All activities, including teaching, supervision, examination as well as statutory and ad hoc committee meetings, have been suspended, also according to him.

As unfortunate as this event is, we implore all staff and students of UNIJOS as well as all concerned members of the public to be patient as the school aims to resolve her internal issues.

God bless us as we comply!
