UNEC Students To Pay Reparation Fee, Resumption Date Announced



As a result of the violent protest held by students of the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus (UNEC) and the subsequent shutting down of the institution, the school management has now ordered the students to resume academic activities.

However, the university senate has approved that the students should pay a reparation fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00) only before resuming.

Here is a notice from the school management;

This is to inform all University of Nigeria, Enugu campus students that the University portal has been opened for payments and that the University officially opens on Monday 8th August, 2016. Lectures resumes immediately.
Please note that students will not be allowed entry into the hostels and lecture halls until they have fulfilled all the requirements.

The process is summarized below:

  1. Visit the University Portal- www.unnportal.unn.edu.ng
  2. Log into your student portal.
  3. Raise invoice and make payments at all designated banks on the Remita platform.
  4. Print out your acknowledgement slip.
  5. Print out your affidavit and swear at the Enugu high court.
  6. Print your approval letter and duly sign same with your Parent, Dean Student affairs, Deputy Chief Security Officer, HOD and Hall supervisor (for those resident in the hostel).

School opens officially on the 8th of August, 2016.
