  • My aggregate score is 63.875 while the cut-off mark for my course is 58. I have been checking JAMB CAPS and the status has always been "ADMISSION IN PROGRESS; CHECK BACK LATER".
I contacted JAMB CBT center for my results upload status and I was told that my results have been successfully uploaded. What could be delaying my admission? Has UI truly released the list of admitted students? Please help!

    1. Maybe you still lack some invaluable credentials.
Go and re-upload your O'Level result to JAMB CAPS in an accredited JAMB centre close to you if you haven't.
      Thanks for understanding.

sir, please can someone who met the cut off mark for ELDS still be admitted in ui because i met the cut off mark for ELDS for pharmacy and i am from kwara one of the elds states, if so will it be out with the first batch or the second list.

    1. Mustapha, it depends on the number of people from ELDS states that made the cut off mark. If this number is more than the quota or slots allotted to ELDS states, then, not everyone will get admitted.

Sir, do you have an idea of the amount I'll use to print admission letter?
Will my name still be out in the school portal?

    11. Usually, most schools require documents such as O’level results (such as WAEC result, NECO result, etc), JAMB admission letter, Birth Certificate, LGA identification certificate, JAMB result print-out, an attestation letter from a parent or guardian (might be optional), etc for clearance.
The acceptance fee last year was N35,000.00. So, you might want to budget that amount.
As for the admission letter, the one issued by JAMB costs about N2,000 to print depending on where you do it.
Finally, your name should also reflect on the school portal in due course.
      Hope that helps.

    12. Yes, it helps.
But, I don't have the LGA identification certificate.
How can I go about that?
Do you say I need to print original JAMB result also?

      Reply
      Like
    13. The identification certificate can be gotten from your local government in your state or a liason office that represents your state, usually in a state like Abuja.
But, you can still hold on for now until clearance starts and you are sure it is necessary.
Yes, you will need your JAMB result slip.

    14. Okay sir.
      Original or the notification?
I mean for the JAMB result slip.
