UI Acceptance Fee Payment Begins, 2021/2022 Session | See Details Here



UI Acceptance Fee: If you are reading this, you probably know that the UI admission list has been released. Following that, the management of the institution released the amount payable as ACCEPTANCE FEE by candidates offered provisional admission, likewise the payment procedure.

Candidates who have been offered admission and have generated their admission letters on CAPS are hereby advised to proceed with the payment of a non-refundable Acceptance Fee of Thirty Seven Thousand, Five Hundred naira (N37,500.00) only on www.admissions.ui.edu.ng. Candidates who are yet to check their admission status and generate their admission letters are advised to do so before payment of the fee. Request for a refund of the acceptance fee will not be entertained.

Candidates are to upload the following documents alongside the payment of the fee:

  • An Institution’s copy of the Admission Letter
  • O/L result(s)
  • PIN/SERIAL Numbers of WAEC/NECO scratch card for O’L results

The admission portal will open from Wednesday, 1 September to Friday, 01 October, 2021. Please note that there will be no extension of the deadline.

    Good day sir/ma, My daughter got admitted into this University to study Germany at Faculty of Arts, getting to her portal to pay acceptance fee no link for such payment. Have printed her admission letter

    I made payment via bank, came back to the admission website for the sync and it says "none of your transaction was successful". i called the number shown to make complaints, the person told me to wait a few hours and 24hrs later, the issue still persists

  • I'm really worried because I don't have time to do cash at bank....The debit pay was always unsuccessful because of notifications like *NO RELATIONSHIP WITH MERCHANT*.

    1. What bank do have an account with? Sometimes, the problem can also come from the bank due to network issues or some communication error between the payment gateway and the bank. Also, were you debited at any point? Were all your trials made on the same day?

    2. I use Zenith Bank... I also tried cash at bank at Zenith but they do not use Saana pay , the same with Union Bank but they had like Server jam ...But the debit card I used was Verve , So I'm not sure if Verve is supported in this.

    3. Verve should be supported considering is a local transaction (within Nigeria). You may need to try using someone else's card.

  • Sirs & Mas, I paid my acceptance fee today.. Using phone via Master card ATM.

    It was successful, but I don't see anything like reprint receipt in my portal till now...

    It was just "Your payment for acceptance fee was successful wait for further instructions on clearance process"

    sIr&mas, what caused this to happen 'cause I'm afraid, I don't have a proof in my hand that I've paid the fee. What's wrong with this pleas? Even the three things, the registrar said we should upload after the completion of the payment, the space or guideline to upload it, is not there. I'm confuse dear sis and bro, help me out. Thanks.

    1. If you're not in the school, you may need to contact a friend or someone you know in the school to help you make enquiries on this. Perhaps, it's a problem the school management is aware of and is working to fix. If you're experiencing this on the portal, you're definitely not the only one, so don't be afraid.

    2. Alright sir, I used PC still the same thing.
      I was only able to print out the receipt on my email address, but was thinking that there should be reprint receipt in the admission portal 'swell?

    3. If you have the email receipt printed, that should be enough. The next important thing to do is to upload the required documents.

    5. If you sure of this, then, this is something that the school's ICT department needs to made aware of either though you if you are near the school or someone you know in the school. UI's ICT department should not be affected by the ASUU strike.
