The Academic State Union of Universities (ASUU) chapter of the Ondo State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH) has reportedly embarked on an indefinite strike action.

Reasons were due to the failure of the state government to pay lecturers for up to six months.
According to the information, the ASUU Chapter have decided not to call off the strike until the government pays a minimum of three months of the owed salaries.
It was gathered that this has also affected the 1st semester examination which was supposed to start 9th of May, 2016.
