How to Check Your NECO GCE Result

Before you proceed to check your 2022 NECO GCE result online, you have to purchase NECO result checking Token online. 

  1. Visit the NECO result checking portal at  https://result.neco.gov.ng/.
  2. Pick your exam year. i.e. 2022
  3. Pick your exam type. i.e. SSCE EXTERNAL (NOV/DEC)
  4. Enter your Token Number and registration number in the appropriate columns.
  5. Finally, click on check result button to access your NECO GCE result.

How to Purchase NECO Token Online

STEP 1: Register on NECO Results Online System

Visit https://result.neco.gov.ng/register. Supply the required data in the appropriate columns and click on register. NECO will send an Activation Email to your registered email address.Open you email and click verify.

STEP 2: Purchase Token

Visit https://result.neco.gov.ng/login. Enter your Email Address/Phone number and your password in the required columns. Then click on the Login button. Locate and click on Purchase Token (NB: Each token can be used with only one result for a specific number of views). Enter the number of token you need and click on Pay now button (NB: a token is N625 + N50 service charge). Now click on Proceed to pay button to pay for the token on REMITA platform using bank or card.

STEP 3: You Can Now Check Your Result

Access the NECO webpage at https://result.neco.gov.ng/. Pick your exam year. Pick your exam type. Enter your Token Number and registration number in the appropriate columns. Finally, click on check result.

NECO SSCE Result Statistics

The National Examinations Councils, NECO, has released the results of the 2022 Senior School Certificate Examination, SSCE external candidates (NECO GCE).

This was announced by the Registrar/Chief Executive of NECO, Prof. Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, in Minna. 

A total of 59,124 candidates were said to have taken part in the exam; 31,316 males, representing 52.96 per cent and 27,808 females, representing 47.03 per cent.

“The number of candidates that sat for the English Language was 45,821 out of which 36,116, representing 78.82% made Credit and above.

Further disclosure showed that out of the 58,012 candidates that sat English Language, 44,162, representing 76.13 per cent got Credit and above, while out of 57,700 candidates that sat Mathematics 43,096, representing 74.69 per cent got Credit and above.

The number of Candidates who got five Credits and above, including English Language and Mathematics is 33,914 representing 57.36 per cent. 46,825 candidates, representing 79.20% got five Credits and above irrespective of English Language and Mathematics,” he said.
