What You Need to Know About National Defence Academy (NDA)

This is to inform the general public that online application for admission into the 74th Regular Course of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna has commenced. Admission into NDA is open to both Male and Female Nigerians.

NDA 74th Regular Course Admission Details

Application into NDA 74RC has been extended to 7 April 2022 for interested applicants. NDA Screening Test/Exam Centre selection would commence from 8.00AM on 8 April to 13 April 2022. Applicants must ensure that they complete and submit their applications by midnight on 7 April 2022.

Admission into the NDA is open to both MALE and FEMALE Nigerians. Interested candidates should log on to the application portal rapplications.nda.edu.ng. Select “Purchase Form” pay for their application via REMITA in the sum of N3 500.00 only. Please note that only payment against RRR Codes generated via the application portal would be accepted.

How to Apply for NDA Regular Admission

Candidates should log on to the application portal www.nda.edu.ng or RCapplications.nda.edu.ng. The application fee is N3,500.00 only.

Please NOTE that only payment against RRR Codes generated via the application portal would be accepted.

 Please note that APPLICANTS APPLYING FOR ADMISSION INTO THE NDA MUST ALSO APPLY TO THE JOINT ADMISSIONS AND MATRICULATIONS BOARD (JAMB), AND MUST SELECT NDA AS FIRST CHOICE INSTITUTION. SUCH APPLICANTS ARE EXPECTED TO SIT FOR THE JAMB UNIFIED TERTIARY MATRICULATION EXAMINATIONS (UTME) AND OBTAIN A MINIMUM SCORE FOR THE COURSE OF CHOICE.

The requirements for various undergraduate degree programmes are as detailed in the NDA website/applications portal. All other information concerning degree courses, eligibility and screening test centres are as obtained in the NDA website/applications portal.

Candidates that choose NDA as second choice in their JAMB registration could also apply. All candidates must upload their JAMB result on the portal immediately the results are released.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION TO CANDIDATES

Candidates are to note that Any Cadet withdrawn before Commission on disciplinary ground or such other grounds except on medical shall not be granted the use of the Academy Degree Certificate or Transcript as the case may be. This is in line with paragraph 14 Sub Paragraph (2) of NDA ACT CAP N101 which states that Any candidate withdrawn before commissioning on disciplinary ground or such other grounds except on medical pr compassionate reasons shall not be granted the use of the Academy degree Certificate or transcript, as the case may be.

CHANGE IN NDA SCREENING TEST (NDAST) DATE

Due to the Shift in the date for UTME by JAMB, the official date for the NDA Screening Test (NDAST) is now Saturday 23 April, 2022 and not 14 May, 2022 as earlier published. The result would be released after the conduct of the UTME by JAMB. This is also on receipt of Candidates list that Choose NDA as First Choice and Scored 180 and above for all courses less Engineering and 210 and above for Engineering.

Applicants are advised to submit their applications once they have entered their JAMB registration number and uploaded their documents. The JAMB Exam Number is not necessary!

The compendium of past question papers is only available at the NDA Registry, Afaka, Kaduna. You CANNOT obtain a copy from this website!

If your passport is not displaying after upload it means that the file was not uploaded properly or that you have invalid characters in the filename i.e. /,(,),#,*,` etc. Delete the application, rename the passport file and re-apply. There is no cost to re-applying if you use the same login details.
