The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has stated that the conduct of the 2020 NBC/NTC examinations will commence on September 21 and ends October 15. This was disclosed by the Registrar/Chief Executive of NABTEB, Prof. Ifeoma Isiugo-Abanihe, in a statement in Abuja on Sunday.
She also revealed that the National Common Entrance Examination for JSS 3 Students’ admission to Technical Colleges had been brought forward from October 3 to September 5.
She commended the Federal Ministry of Education and all state Ministries of Education and their stakeholders, for excellent planning and a smooth resumption of school and examinations for the exit classes
She added that the deadline for registration of candidates for the NBC/NTC examinations had been extended to September 4, to accommodate requests from various states that had not been able to complete registration of their students due to exigencies arising from COVID-19 Lockdown.

The 2020 May/June NBC/NTC Examinations which was scheduled to commence from Monday 4th May, through Friday 5th June 2020 has been postponed INDEFINITELY, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A new date for the examinations would be communicated to you in due course.
In taking this decision the Board recognizes that this is a challenging period globally and remains committed to the safety of our candidates, staff, and other critical stakeholders.
The National Business and Technical Examination Board (NABTEB) website and email address are fully functional and active to ensure that all services are not disrupted during this period of lockdown due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Consequently, Principal/ Proprietor of Schools, prospective candidates, and the general public are to note that the registration for the 2020 NABTEB May/June Exams is still on.
