JAMB Mock Exam Date for 2019 UTME Candidates
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has fixed Monday, 1st April 2019 as the new date for the conduct of the 2019 UTME mock exam. The board has also directed all eligible candidates for the mock exam to commence the printing of their mock examination notification slips if they have not done so in order to know their venue and time for the mock exam.
However, those who are qualified to write the Mock Exam on the new date of 1st April do not need to reprint the reprinted exam slips, as all the details on the slips remain the same except the (mock) examination date which is now April 1st.
JAMB has also fixed 11th April 2019 as the new official date to commence with the UTME for this year. This means the actual dates for the modes of the main exams has been confirmed and announced by the board as the above-mentioned date. The Board has earlier urged all candidates to disregard all the rumours being bandied around.
In a statement by the JAMB spokesman Fabian Benjamin, 2019 UTME Candidates have been urged to guard all their details pertaining to the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME/DE) Direct Entry.
He reminded the candidates that the purpose of the mock exam is to ascertain the readiness of its system for the exam and help candidates especially those not too familiar with CBT to get themselves acquainted with it.
Non-JAMB CBT Centres are allowed to collect, through their bank accounts, a separate Seven Hundred Naira (N700) only, for mock exercise from only interested candidate(s) after notification of centre has been received by the candidate(s). The payment for mock examination by the candidate shall be made to the centre to which the candidate is assigned after the notification of assigned centres for the mock examination. No Association or body is permitted to run any mock examination on behalf of JAMB.
