FUTMINNA Post UTME Screening Information for 2020/2021

Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA) 2020/2021 Post UTME screening form for all admission-seeking candidates is now available as has been announced by the institution. All concerned aspirants and interested members of the public that wish to study in the institution are hereby notified and advised to procure their forms as soon as possible.

According the school’s management and authorities, the process of registering candidates for 2020/2021 Post UTME Screening Exercise registration has commenced in the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA). The details of the registration, cut off mark have been released likewise.

FUTMINNA Post UTME Form Screening Invitation

This is to inform all UTME candidates who have applied for admission into the Federal University of Technology, Minna for the 2020/2021 academic session that the University has scheduled the University Pre-Admission Screening Exercise (UPASE) will commence on Monday 21st September 2020 and end midnight of Wednesday 18th November 2020.  

Candidates are hereby notified that the screening exercise shall be conducted using the Computer-Based Test (CBT) platform.

FUTMINNA Post UTME and DE Screening Eligibility Criteria

(i) Only UTME candidates who selected Federal University of Technology, Minna as First choice are eligible for the screening exercise.

(ii)  UTME candidates must have a minimum UTME score of 170, except for those courses for which higher cut-off marks have been indicated on the University website.

(iii)   All candidates must possess a minimum of five ‘O’ level credits including Mathematics and English Language at not more than two sittings in subjects relevant to their proposed courses. In addition, Direct Entry candidates must possess a minimum of Lower Credit at National Diploma and/or Higher National Diploma level(s) or Merit at NCE level.

(iv) UTME candidates that have met the minimum score of their chosen courses, but do not have the UTME or O’level subjects combination are eligible to change to any other course whose requirements are met by the candidates.

(v) Only ‘O’ level result print-out(s) downloaded directly from the website(s) of the National Examining Bodies (WAEC/ NECO/NABTEB) or photocopies of original certificate(s) will be accepted for verification.

How to Apply for the 2020/2021 FUTMINNA Post UTME Screening

Candidates are advised to visit the FUT Minna website: www.futminna.edu.ng for details on the procedure for online registration, requirements for the screening exercise, the procedure for payment and other general information

Candidates are to pay a non-refundable fee of Two thousand Naira (N2000) only through REMITA platform.

Federal University of Technology Minna (FUTMINNA) is a Federal Government established post-secondary educational institution located in Minna, Nigeria. FUTMINNA specializes in technological education. The University is a designated Centre of Excellence in Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering and has a core competence in the development of vaccines and drugs.

FUTMINNA was founded in 1983, and the first Vice-Chancellor was Professor J.O. Ndagi who served from 1983 to 1990. The governing bodies are the Council and the Senate. In the beginning, the University took over the facilities of the former Government Teachers’ College Bosso, for use on a permanent basis. This site now serves as the Bosso Campus of the University. The main campus gidan kwano which is sited on a 10,650 hectares of land is located along the Minna – Kataeregi – Bida Road. The institution is listed in the Guide to Higher Education in AfricaAssociation of African Universities and the International Association of Universities, 1999.
