FUPRE Post UTME Form Information, 2023/2024

Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun, FUPRE Post UTME screening form for all admission-seeking candidates is now available as has been announced by the institution. All concerned aspirants and interested members of the public that wish to study in the institution are hereby notified and advised to procure their forms as soon as possible.

FUPRE Post UTME Screening Invitation

FUPRE Post-UTME registration, cut-off mark, eligibility, screening date, application cost and deadline for the 2023/2024 academic session have been announced. Required cut-off mark is 170. The application cost is ₦2000.

Note that:

• Online application commences Monday, 10th July 2023.
• Online application closes 12 midnight, Thursday, 31st August, 2023.
• Screening exercise will be held from 11th September, 2023
• Candidates are strongly advised to carefully follow the instructions on the university website https://portal.fupre.edu.ng when completing the application form.

This is to inform candidates who wish to choose the Federal University of Petroleum Resources as their first choice institution during the 2023/2024 admission exercise, that the following programmes are available in the University for them to apply into­:

For all Engineering programmes, the following UTME subject combination apply –English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.  In addition, possession of five (5) O’ Level credit passes in relevant science subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) is required at one or two sittings.

B. COLLEGE OF SCIENCE

1. Chemistry
2. Industrial Chemistry
3. Computer Science
4. Mathematics
5. Statistics
6. Environmental Management and Toxicology
7. Geology
8. Geophysics
9. Physics
10. Science Laboratory Technology ( with options in Biochemical Technology, Biological Technology, Petro-chemistry Technology and Physics Instrumentation Technology)

For all Science programmes, the following UTME subject combination apply –English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, depending on the programme of choice. In addition, possession of five (5) O’ Level credit passes in relevant science subjects(including English Language and Mathematics) is required at one or two sittings.

FUPRE Post UTME Eligibility

• Eligible candidates are those who have five (5) O’ Level credits at one or two sittings (including English Language and Mathematics) OR, are awaiting results which would be released before the conclusion of the admission exercise. 

• Successful upload of O’ Level results on the JAMB portal is mandatory for admission. Candidates are advised to as soon as possible, visit any CBT centre to upload their complete O’ Level results, without which they cannot be considered for admission. 

• Candidates are to pay a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) only, as screening fee. 

• Applicants should visit fupre.edu.ng, click on the link “2023/2024 Post UTME Screening Application” and follow the registration instructions on the website to complete their Post UTME registration. 

• The registration exercise commences on Monday, 10th July 2023 and ends by 12 midnight, Thursday, 31st August, 2023.

Guidelines for Registration

1.Open your web browser (like Google Chrome or Firefox, Edge etc) on your computer or smartphone.
2. In the address bar at the top of the browser, type in https://portal.fupre.edu.ng and press Enter. This will take you to the registration website.
3. On the website’s homepage, look for a section called “post UTME” and click on the option that says “generate invoice.” This will help you get the necessary payment details.
4. Find the space provided on the page and enter your Jamb registration number. Afterward, click on the submit button to proceed.
5. Once you’ve submitted your Jamb registration number, you’ll be taken to another page where you’ll see boxes to fill in your personal details. Fill in all the required information in these boxes carefully.
6. After filling in your details, it’s time to make the payment for your application. Follow the instructions provided on the page to complete the payment process.
7. Once you have successfully made the payment, locate and click on the “application form” or “Admission screening application form” link. This is where you will provide additional information for the screening process.
8. On the application form page, you will be prompted to enter your Jamb number. Fill in your Jamb number correctly and click on the login button.
9. Now, you can fill in the required information on the application form. Take your time and ensure that you provide accurate details.
10. After you have completed the application form, print out your Post UTME Registration slip (in COLOUR). The date of the Post UTME screening will be communicated to you via the email and the phone number that you filled during the application process. You must bring the COLOURED print out of your registration slip with you when you come for the screening.

About FUPRE

The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE), Delta State, Nigeria was established in March 2007 under a Federal Government of Nigeria initiative to build a specialized University to produce unique high-level manpower and relevant expertise for the Oil & Gas sector in Nigeria and worldwide.

At first, it occupied the PTI Conference centre, Effurun Delta state, which is few kilometres away from the permanent site. The new site covered large hectares of land generously leased by the chiefs and people of Uviwe kingdom.
