The board is also charged with the respoansibility to administer similar examinations for applicants to Nigerian public and private monotechnics, polytechnics, and colleges of educations. All of these candidates must have obtained the West African School Certificate, now West African Examinations Council, WAEC, or its equivalent, National Examination Council (Nigeria), NECO.

Choosing the right course of study as you register for JAMB can be quite challenging especially for students and admission seekers who are naive about the various courses offered in Nigerian universities.

To cut the long story short, the Nigerian Scholars Community has put together a series of tests to help you make the right choice and give you some information that will guide you in choosing what might eventually become your life’s career.
