EKSU Gets Approval To Start BSc. Medical Lab Science



The Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria, Ekiti State has presented a proposal to the Vice-Chancellor of Ekiti State University, Professor Samuel Oye Bandele detailing provisions required to start a new Bachelor of Science degree programme, BSc Medical Laboratory Science.

EKSU Appoints New Vice Chancellor

The leader of the team, Dr. C.O Esan congratulated the Vice-Chancellor on his appointment as the 7th Vice-Chancellor of Ekiti State University, adding that the recently held IGR and Academic Summits organized by the Vice-Chancellor and his team have laid the foundation for the efficient academic programme as well as making the University self sufficient.

Dr. Esan said that about 20 Universities out of well over one hundred Universities in Nigeria currently run degree programme in Medical Laboratory Science.

He was of the opinion that Ekiti State University would benefit the society and the institution if the programme is run as a degree awarding.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Samuel Oye Bandele thanked the group for their supports, he said.
