EKSU Best Student In Crop Production Awarded ₦2000 Prize Money



According to media reports, a screen shot of an award letter to the best graduating student department of Crop Production, Ekiti State University in the has emerged online.

According to the letter, the best graduating student in Crop Production Faculty of Agricultural Sciences simply identified as UWAGWU has been awarded the Prof. M.A Faluyi’s Prize Award of Two Thousand Naira (₦2000).

This has attracted reactions from Nigerians. Many see the prize money as a mockery to educatiion and does not in any way motivate students to be the best they can be in their academics.
