The school authorities of the Ebonyi State University (EBSU) have announced that the Direct Entry applicants for the 2015/2016 admissions are to take note of this important information as released by the mangement of the university. The information was released from the office of the Registrar and signed by the Registrar, Sam N. Egwu. Read the important information below.
Direct entry candidates who chose EBSU and possess a minimum of OND/OD upper credit are to participate in an online screening exercise for the purpose of screening/verification of their O/Level results only.The details of the screening and how to apply can be found here.
NOTE: These candidates are NOT required to write the screening test.

EBSU Admission Requirements
(a) Candidates seeking admission to the University for first-degree courses must obtain and complete the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms and take the examination.
(b) For admission to all courses, candidates must satisfy the admission requirements of the University. For
some courses; additional School/Departmental requirements have to be satisfied.
(c) At the time of registration in this University, each candidate will be required to present the originals of
the certificates or any other acceptable evidence of the qualifications on the basis of which the offer of admission has been made.
(d) If it is discovered at any time that a candidate does not possess any of the qualifications which he/she claims to have obtained, he/she will be expelled from the University.
(e) Students shall, on admission pay to the University, all the fees prescribed by regulations.
i. Admission to all courses is mainly through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)/Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination(PUTME)
ii. Candidates must posses 5 ‘O’ level credit passes at not more than two sittings preferably including English Language and mathematics.
iii. Admission/Registration of candidates into undergraduate programmes of Faculty of Law and Basic Medicine/Anatomy shall continue to be based on possession of all relevant O/L entry requirements at One sitting.
