Delta State Poly Otefe-Oghara Post UTME Screening Form, 2019/2020



Delta State Poly Otefe-Oghara admission screening for the 2019/2020 session has been announced. Delta State Poly Post-UTME registration, cut-off mark, eligibility, application cost and other relevant details for the 2019/2020 session have been announced. The cut-off mark is 140. Application cost is ₦2000. Deadline is September 30th, 2019. Screening holds 3rd – 4th October, 2019. See the details below.

Delta State Poly Otefe-Oghara Post UTME Screening Details, 2019/2020

This is to inform all aspirants of Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara that the management of the institution is inviting applications from candidates seeking admission into the National Diploma programmes of institution to apply for the 2019/2020 academic session.

Eligibility Criteria

(i) Candidates who wrote the 2019 UTME and scored 140 and above.

(ii) Candidates who chose Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara and those who did not but wish to change to Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara.

(iii) Candidates must possess Five (5) O/L Credits in relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language.

How to Apply for the 2019/2020 DESPO Post UTME Screening

(i) Log on to www.ogharapoly.edu.ng then click on ND Application Form.
(ii) Click the payment button to pay a non-refundable application fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000:00) made online with Verve or Master debit Card (ATM Card).
(iii) Fill the online application form with the requested information and submit.
(iv) Print two (2) copies of the online acknowledgment form to conclude the registration.

Delta State Poly Otefe-Oghara Post UTME Screening Exercise Schedule

Candidates shall be subjected to Post -UTME Screening Exercise.

The Screening exercise is for the following candidates:

  • Those who chose Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara.
  • All candidates who did not choose Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara as first choice are advised to access JAMB website www.jamb.ng.org and apply for change of Institution to Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara.
  • Candidates are advised to come with writing materials and HB Pencil.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE:

Candidates for the Screening exercise are required to come with the original copies of the following:

  1. JAMB Result Slip
  2. O/L Result
  3. Certificate of Local Government of Origin
  4. Two (2) Recent Passport Photographs
  5. The Application Form (Photocopy) and Bursary receipt
  6. Birth Certificate

Closing date for sale of forms for the Screening exercise is Monday 30th September 2019 while the Post-UTME is Thursday 3rd – Friday 4th October 2019as scheduled below:

About Delta State Polytechnics

There are three Delta State Polytechnic institutions in Delta State, Nigeria, all established on 12 November 2002, located in Ozoro, Isoko North Local Government Area,Ogwashi-Uku (Aniocha South Local Government Area) and Otefe-Oghara, Oghara (Ethiope West Local Government Area).

The Government of Delta State reached an understanding with the University of Westminster, London to assist in management and technical support for the institutions. The institutions are centres of excellence in Agriculture, Computing and Information Technology, Fashion Design and Arts and Sports. Besides their primary areas of specialization, all students are trained in Computing and Information Technology as well as business and entrepreneurship.

The Ozoro polytechnic has schools that offer National Diplomas and Higher National Diplomas in Agriculture, Business Studies, Science and Technology, Engineering and Environmental Studies.

The Otefe-Oghara polytechnic has schools that offer National Diplomas in Business Studies (Accountancy, Banking and Finance and Business Administration), Computing and IT (Computer Science and Statistics) and Engineering (Computer Engineering, Electronic and Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering). It also has a School of Preliminary Studies that introduces all students to basic Business Studies and Science Technology.

The Ogwashi-Uku polytechnic has schools that offer National Diplomas in Art and Design (Fashion Design and Clothing Technology, and General Art), Business (Accountancy, Business Administration, Secretarial Studies and Mass Communication), Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Welding and Fabrication) and Applied Sciences (Hotel and Catering Management).
