DELSU Post UTME Screening Details for 2023/2024 Session

LATEST UPDATE: This is to inform all candidates who chose Delta State University, Abraka as their first chioce in the 2023/2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored 150 and above that the closing date on the application portal has been extended by one week. To that effect :

They can still apply for the 2023/2024 admission screening after July 19, 2023;

Application portal will now close at 6:00pm, on Monday, August 4, 2023;

We are pleased to inform all candidates who chose Delta State University, Abraka (DELSU) in the 2023 Unified Territory Matriculation Examination (UTME) that the admission screening exercise of the institution for the 2023/2024 session has been announced.

All candidates who chose Delta State University, Abraka (DELSU) in the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) as First choice and scored a minimum of 150 are hereby invited to apply.

This is to inform all candidates who chose Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka as their first choice of University in the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and score 150 and above including those for Direct Entry (DE) that:

DELSU Post UTME Screening Requirement 

1. Candidates are required to visit https://portal.delsu.edu.ng/ to generate a virtual PIN with two thousand naira only (N2,000.00). Payment should be made to any of the following  banks.

❖ Unity Bank

❖ UBA

❖ Zenith Bank

❖ Fidelity Bank

❖ Ecobank Plc

PROCEDURE TO GENERATE VIRTUAL PIN

i. Visit https://portal.delsu.edu.ng/
ii. Click apply for admission
iii. Click Start
iv. Select screening exercise
v. Click apply
vi. Complete the form with valid JAMB Registration Number
vii. Enter a valid mobile phone number and e-mail address. These will be used to
communicate the date and venue of the screening test to candidates
viii. Submit the form and click pay online or generate PIN.
ix. Print out the PIN generated
x. Visit any of the specified banks for online payment
xi. After payment return to www.delsuonline.com to complete the form
xii. Candidates are advised to use the virtual PIN immediately for payment, as it will become invalid six (6) hours after generation.
xiii. Candidates are advised to read the instructions on the front page of the website before completing the form.

PROSPECTIVE FOREIGN STUDENTS
Prospective foreign students (Non-Nigerians resident in Nigeria) are invited to transfer their courses of study in JAMB to Delta State University, Abraka as conducive  provisions have been made for their stay in the University.

Any person caught impersonating will be handed over to the Security Operatives and the candidate impersonated will automatically be disqualified.

About DELSU

The Delta State University, Abraka – popularly known as DELSU, is a State government university with a main campus located at Abraka, Delta and a campus at Anwai, Asaba. With the 1995 Amended Edict, we now have a campus at Oleh.

The University runs a multi-campus system with three campuses within a distance of about 200 km apart. Currently, with a student population of about 36,000 (in the 2007/08 session), the University offers a range of programmes from the full-time certificate, diploma and degree programmes to part-time evening and weekend degree programmes.

The University offers post-graduate studies up to a doctoral level. A staff/student counselling centre, an e-learning centre, student accommodation and sporting facilities amidst others are available support services. It is one of twenty-five federal universities which are overseen and accredited by the National Universities Commission.
