Borno State Announces Schools Resumption Date for Continuation of 2019/2020 Session

The Borno State Government has announced October 25th as the resumption date for schools in the state. See details below.

The general public is by this notice informed that the approved continuation of the 2019/2020 School calendar for Borno State Schools after the COVID-19 Pandemic as follows:

3RD TERM

Resumption date – Sunday, 25 October, 2020

Closing date – Friday, 18 December, 2020

Vacations 

Resumption date – Saturday, 19 December, 2020

Closing date – Monday, 2 January, 2020 

First  Term 2020/2021 Academic Session begins on Sunday, 3 January, 2021

1ST TERM

Resumption date –  (Sunday, 3 January, 2021 – Friday, 26 March, 2021)

Vacation –  (27 March, 2021 – Sunday, 11 April, 2021)

2ND TERM

Resumption date – (Monday 12 April, 2021 – Friday, 28 May, 2021)

Vacation – (Saturday 29 May, 2021 – Sunday 18th July, 2021)

3RD TERM

Resumption date – (Monday, 19 July, 2021 – Friday 1 October, 2021)

Vacation – (Saturday 2 October, 2021 – 1st November, 2021)

1st Term 2021/2022 Academic Session begins on Monday, 2 November, 2021
