BASUG Admission List, 2020/2021: How to Check | 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th Batch



BASUG Admission List Released: The Bauchi State University (BASU) admission list for the 2019/2020 academic session is out. Candidates who took part in BASUG Post UTME and applied for admission into undergraduate programmes can see how to check your admission status below. Note that the first, second, third, fourth and fifth batch admission lists are out.

This is to inform all newly admitted students that the ongoing physical screening exercise will close on Thursday, 15th April 2021. Any candidate who fails to appear on or before that date will forfeit his/her admission as JAMB has already announced the end date for the 2020 admission exercise.

How to Check BASUG Admission List on School Portal

The admission lists are available online.

5th Batch

Candidates are to CLICK HERE to access the names of admitted candidates for both UTME AND Direct Entry.

All admitted candidates are to note that they are to appear for Physical screening starting on Thursday, 15th April 2021. CLICK HERE for more details.

3rd Batch

NOTICE:

  • All newly admitted students must ensure that they finish physical screening on or before Friday, 16th April 2021. The admission exercise will be concluded on that date.
  • Also, candidates must ensure they upload O’level on JAMB CAPS before their admission can be processed.

NB:  All candidates must do the following before screening :

1. Upload their O’level on JAMB CAPS or their admission will not be processed.

2. Change to the Course for which they are shortlisted before they can be screened.

3. Bring originals and photocopies of their credentials for the screening exercise.

4. Bring one (1) passport photograph

5. Bring scratch cards of the O’level examination they are submitting.

How to Check BASUG Admission List on JAMB CAPS

You can access your BASUG admission status on JAMB CAPS. Admitted candidates are to click ”ACCEPT” or “REJECT” to indicate acceptance or rejection of the admission offer. Note that clicking ”REJECT” is an indication that the offer of admission has been rejected by candidates.

Again, BASUG is currently accessible on JAMB admission status checking portal, and all you need to do is to follow the procedure outlined below to access your admission status:

  1. Visit https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility_/.
  2. Log in to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
  3. Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
  4. Choose your Exam year and Enter your registration number in the required columns.
  5. Then, click on ‘Check Admission Status‘ to access your BASUG admission status.

Note:

  1. Successfully admitted candidates should login to the JAMB website, click on CAPS to check their admission status, and click on accept/reject button to either accept or reject the offer. 
  2. Candidates whose admission status show “not admitted” should keep checking the JAMB website for further updates.

How to Upload O’Level Result on JAMB

  1. Visit an accredited JAMB CBT centre or JAMB office or JAMB registration centre/café closest to you.
  2. Ensure you go along with a copy of your O’level result (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) as well as the email address you used during the online registration and your JAMB profile code.
  3. Once you get there, request for an upload of your O’level result on JAMB portal.
