The attention of the university has been drawn to a fake circular purported to have been issued by the university on the resumption of students on campus.


It should be noted that the said circular did not emanate from the university as the senate was yet to meet, the students and the general public are enjoined to disregard the false information in its entirety. 

Students and the general public will be informed on any development on the issue in due course through the appropriate means, please.

Earlier: ATBU Resumption Notice to IJMB Students

Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) has released a notice to all IJMB students on resumption. The notice reads.

This is to inform all IJMB students that the resumption of academic activities earlier scheduled for 3rd January, 2021 has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances related to the reported cases of the second wave of COVID-19.

In view of the above, students are advised to stay safely at home until further notice.

The Directorate regrets any inconveniences this postponement might have caused, please.
