About ADSU

Adamawa State University, Mubi (ADSU) was established in January 2002 by the Adamawa State University (ADSU) law No. 10 of 2001. The University is located in Mubi town, in the Northern Senatorial District of Adamawa State, Nigeria. Mubi is geographically located within latitude 10.27 and longitude 13.28 and has an elevation of 1906 feet above sea level situated at the foot of the Mandara Mountains separating Nigeria from the Republic of Cameroun. It is characterised by a pleasant weather and beautiful scenic horizons. The town is the sect of the Emirate of Mubi with a First Class Emir.

Adamawa State University, Mubi is the first State Government owned University in the North East sub-region of Nigeria. Since establishment, the University has graduated a total of four sets of students, 67 in 2005/2006 session, 200 in 2006/2007 session, 309 in 2007/2008 session and 353 in 2008/2009 session totalling 929 graduates. At present, the University has a total of 4, 600 undergraduate students and 384 pursuing Postgraduate Diplomas and higher degrees. The total number of academic staff of the University is 229 supported by 52 visiting and 7 part-time lecturers. These are complimented by 166 senior non-academic staff and 281 junior staff of different cadres.

ADSU 2015/2016 Post UTME Form Information

Adamawa State University (ADSU), Mubi 2015/2016 Post UTME screening form for all UTME admission-seeking candidates is now available as has been announced by the institution. All concerned aspirants and interested members of the public that wish to study in the institution are hereby notified and advised to procure their forms as soon as possible.

According the school’s management and authorities, the process of registering candidates for 2015/2016 Post UTME Screening Exercise registration has commenced in the Adamawa State University (ADSU), Mubi. The details of the registration, cut off mark have been released likewise.

ADSU 2015/2016 Post UTME Application Procedures, Venues and Dates


Adamawa State University (ADSU), Mubi is currently inviting all eligible 2015 JAMB UTME candidates to apply for the post-UTME admission screening test of the institution.

Eligibility Criteria:

All Direct Entry and UTME Candidates who scored 180 and above in the 2015 UTME and chose ADSU as their most preferred institution (First Choice) and candidates that did not choose ADSU as their first choice but are interested to study in the University.

Method of Application:

Interested applicants are to make a payment of non-refundable fee of two thousand five hundred naira (N2,500) only at the following Banks:
(1) Zenith Bank Plc Acc. No: 1011258002

(3) Skye Bank Account No: 1751091883

Screening Date & Details:

Date:  Saturday, 12th September, 2015

Time:  8:00 a.m prompt

Venue: Adamawa State University School of Remedial and Basic Studies

(i) IJM H 1, All progammes in Faculty of Agriculture
(ii) IJM H 2, All programmes in the Faculty of Science and Science Education
(iii) IJM H 3, Department of Accounting, Business Admin, and History
(iv) IJM H 4, Department of Political Sci, & Public Admin. and Languages.

Candidates are requested to come along with the following:

(1.) Original JAMB result slip for the 2015. Online reistration slip for Direct Entry
(2.) Original copies of O Level/ A level results, Birth Certificate, First School leaving Certificate and Local
Government Indigene Certicate.
(3.) Photocopies of all original credentials as in above in a Brown envelopw with 2 passport photograph and scratch
card(s) of O level result to be Mark DE – course of UTME –  course
(4.) Evidence of payment of the non refundable fee as described above.

Eligible candidates who fails to appear for the screening exercise on the stipulated date would not be considered.
