ABU Post-UTME candidates should please note that those who for one reason or another missed their screening at the scheduled dates should come on Monday 3rd September, 2018 from 7.AM to 12.PM for mop-up screening.

Failure to appear for the screening is an indication that the candidate has forfeited the chances of being admitted into Ahmadu Bello University for the 2018/2019 session.
It is important to note that no change of institution or programme will be entertained on the mop-up day.

ABU Post UTME Screening Invitation [Primary]
ABU Post-UTME form, registration details, cut-off mark, eligibility, application cost, screening dates and other relevant information for the 2018/2019 academic session are out. Cut-off mark is 180. Cost is N2000. Deadline is September 1st, 2018. Screening holds 27th August, 2018 – September 1st, 2018.
This is to inform all candidates who applied for admission into Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria for the 2018/2019 academic session and who made the institution their FIRST CHOICE that they must appear for the screening through Computer Based testing (CBT) starting at 8:00 am daily from Monday 27th August to Saturday 1st September, 2018.

QUALIFICATION FOR SCREENING
All candidates with UTME Score of 180 and above are eligible to attend the screening exercise.
SCREENING DATE AND DETAILS
The screening will hold August 27th, 2018 – September 1st, 2018. We currently do not have the official Post-UTME past questions for ABU.
Registration for the screening exercise commences on Monday 30th July, 2018 and closes on Saturday 1st September, 2018.
Applicants are required to pay the sum of Two Thousand Naira (₦2000.00) only as screening fee.
Payment can either be made via Remita using any acceptable debit card (Visa, verve and Master Card) OR by printing the Remita retrieval Reference (RRR) slip and proceed to any commercial Bank. Candidates need not travel to Zaria to make payment.

DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES ARE ONLY REQUIRED TO PAY SCREENING FEE AND REGISTER
On the day of screening, UTME candidates must come along with the print-out of their schedule slips with the uploaded passport photograph and a printout of the UTME result which must be submitted on the day of the screening.
UTME Candidates should please note that:
- Only JAMB calculator will be allowed into the venue
- GSM Phones and other electronic devices are not allowed into the venue
- Parents, Guardians and uninvited Law enforcement agents will not be allowed into the venue
- ABU is not liable for payment made into any other account other than the one provided.
- Candidates MUST keep photocopies of all submissions for their own record

Any candidate who fails to appear for the screening exercise on the dates indicated above will not be considered for admission into the university during the 2018/2019 academic session.
Ahmadu Bello University began with the faculties of Agriculture, Engineering, Law and Sciences, fifteen academic departments and 426 students. The University covers a land area of about 7,000 hectares and encompasses two campuses, twelve Faculties, a Postgraduate School and 82 academic departments. It also has five Institutes, six Specialized Centers, a Division of Agricultural Colleges, a School of Basic and Remedial Studies, a Demonstration Secondary School, a Primary School and a Consultancy Outfit which .provides a variety of services to the University and the wider society.
The total student enrolment in the University’s degree and sub-degree programmes is about 35,000, drawn from every State of the Federation, Africa and the rest of the world. Currently, the University has about 1,400 academic and research staff and over 6000 non-teaching, senior and junior administrative staff. The University has also nurtured two University Colleges, – the Abdullahi Bayero College (now Bayero University), Kano and the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa College (now Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University of Technology), Bauchi, while 27 institutions made up of Colleges of Education, Polytechnics and Schools of Basic or Preliminary Studies are currently affiliated to it.
