60 Indigent Kebbi State Students Receive Admission Form



According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the Banganna District Development Association in Kalgo Local Government Area of Kebbi said it had distributed free admission forms to 60 indigent students in the state.

The Chairman of the association, Alhaji Attahiru Mohammed, who made the disclosure on Sunday, said the forms were distributed free of charge to qualified indigent students of the area, adding that the forms were for admission into NCE and Diploma programmes.

Mohammed said the association had spent N125,000 to procure the forms that to enable the beneficiaries secure admissions into polytechnics and colleges of education.

He added that the association procured the forms from the monthly contribution of members.

The chairman said the first batch of the beneficiaries included 30 males and 30 females.

He said that the association would support them with small stipends when they secured admission into schools of their choice.
