Even though registration ends on Friday, June 14, 2015, candidates should note that sales of Scratch Cards ends on Friday, June 7, 2015 while. Therefore, you have to get your scratch card a week before the registration closing date.

WAEC/GCE Nov/Dec 2015 Form Is Still Available

WAEC November/December 2015 exams form is now available for sale. Interested members of the public that intends to sit for the exams are hereby informed to procure their forms as the closing date has been announced.

Members of the public are hereby informed that the sale of the 2015 WASSCE Nov/Dec (private) form is ongoing. The sale of the NOv/Dec exam which is also called WAEC/GCE in local parlance has begun since April 27 2015 and will close by August 22 2015.

Interested members of the public are hence advised to register within this period.

Lagos State Pledges Continuous Payment Of WAEC Fees

The Lagos State Government has vowed continuous payment of fee for all SS3 students sitting for the West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in public schools in the state.

The Commissioner for Education, Olayinka Oladunjoye, on Monday at a press briefing in Lagos, stated that the government had already paid over N535 million to the West African Examination Council (WAEC) as examination and administrative fees for 42,995 SS3 students, who were currently sitting for the May/June 2015 examination in the state.

She said government was determined to ensure academic excellence through relevant and high quality learning at all levels by organising daily ‘after school coaching programme’ for JS3 and SS3 students as well as ‘Saturday coaching’ in core subjects of English and Mathematics for SS3 students.

Oladunjoye explained that promotion criteria and eligibility guideline for WASSCE examination registration had been stipulated by the government and must be followed to produce world-class students.

Her words: “The requirements include minimum of 50 percent pass in five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics; minimum of 90 percent attendance in schools and after school coaching for SS3 students; 50 percent attendance at parents forum by parents and the administration of screening test on students as acid test to ensure their preparedness for the mock examinations”.
