About the University of Oregon ICSP Scholarships
Applications are currently ongoing for the University of Oregon ICSP Scholarships for students who wish to study in the USA and interested candidates are invited.
The University of Oregon (UO) in the USA offers the International Cultural Service Program (ICSP) Scholarships to international students who demonstrate financial need and exceptional merit.
The ICSP scholarship has a cultural service component which requires students to give presentations about their home country to children, community organizations, and UO students, faculty and staff. The scholarship is available for Bachelors and Masters Degree programmes that start in 2015 in the University.
Application for the ICSP Tuition Scholarship for international students at the University of Oregon, USA is currently ongoing and will end in January 2016.
To consider yourself eligible for the scholarship at the University of Oregon:
- Applicants must be admissible or fully admitted to the University of Oregon. New students must apply for admission to the UO for 2016-17 by the deadline date stated below.
- Applicants cannot be U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or eligible to receive U.S. federal financial assistance.
- Applicants must demonstrate financial need and meet the minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA requirement
Note that ICSP students agree to complete 80 hours per year of cultural service as required by the program.

- Experience participating in cultural activities
- Demonstrated performance and presentation skills
- Strong academic records
- Strong communication skills

Selected ICSP students receive a tuition-waiver scholarship ranging from $9,000 – $27,000.
Method of Application
You must apply for admission to the University of Oregon before applying for scholarships. Your University of Oregon student ID number is required. Applications and supporting materials must be submitted to International Affairs on or before the officially announced deadline date (see below).

Applications and supporting materials must be submitted to International Affairs on or before January 15, 2016.
Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Completed ICSP application materials must submitted on or before January 15, 2016.
ICSP students agree to complete 80 hours per year of cultural service as required by the program. Cultural service can include speaking or giving demonstrations to schools or community groups about the heritage and culture of your country or participating in international events on campus.
