About the GITEX 2016 Event
GITEX is hosting the most global startup movement in Dubai from October 16 to 20, 2016. The AED 2 Billion knowledge fund, part of UAE’s National Innovation Strategy, aims to accelerate the start-up movement towards a sustainable knowledge-based economy.
The GITEX STARTUP MOVEMENT aims to bring together the world’s most exciting Startups, Corporates, Governments, Investors and change-makers to enable the success of entrepreneurs and the impact on our lives. 400 Startups will get the opportunity to showcase their businesses to the industry’s leading tech companies, pitch to win prizes to grow their business, network and build relationships with investors to steer them on the path of success.

To take advantage of the GITEX STARTUP MOVEMENT this year, NITDA Office for ICT Innovation & Entrepreneurship (OIIE) hereby requests for Nigerian tech-driven startups with working solution to apply for sponsorship to GITEX 2016 event in Dubai from October 16 to 20. Ten (10) startups with unique and innovative ICT solution or products in the sector listed below will be given a space at GITEX Innovation Hubs in Dubai to participate and benefit from all enumerated above.
Eligibility Criteria
Must be a Nigeria tech-driven Startups
Must an innovative ICT solution or from any of the areas listed below:
