About Institution

The University of Houston–Victoria (UHV) is a four-year state university and one of four distinct institutions in the University of Houston System. Its campus spans 20 acres (8.1 ha) in Victoria, with a satellite location at UHV Katy. Founded in 1971, UHV has an enrollment of over 4,300 students.

The school’s athletics teams are known as the UHV Jaguars; the university has fielded baseball and softball teams, and men’s and women’s soccer and golf teams. The UHV Jaguars are members of the Red River Athletic Conference and compete in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Division I.

The University of Houston-Victoria (UHV) in Victoria, Texas invites applications from International students. If you would like to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate degree in USA, this is an opportunity for you.

The scholarship provides financial support to international students.

Eligibility: To be eligible for this scholarship program, applicants must:

  • be admitted to UHV and registered full-time.
  • be International students.
  • have a F-1 or J-1 student visa.
  • be self-funding.
  • have a demonstrated record of academic achievement.

Selection Criteria: Students must be admitted to UHV and registered full-time (minimum of 12 credits for undergraduate and minimum of 9-credits for graduate).

English Language Requirements: Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language/other language requirements in order to be able to study there.

Value Of Scholarships: The scholarship will reduce the student’s tuition and fees cost to reflect the residency tuition rate. Other costs such as housing, meals, transportation, personal expenses, books, supplies, and health insurance are not included in this scholarship.
