1. 2017/2018 Canada Doctoral Research Scholarship Competition for International Students

Application Deadline

The application deadline is September 23th, 2016. The e-forms are only available in the secure section of the website of the Fonds. These forms must be filled out and submitted electronically by the competition deadline on November 1st, 2016.

Each year the Government of Canada offers doctoral research scholarships in the natural sciences, mathematics and engineering fields for international students.  International students except from Canada can apply for these scholarships.

Doctoral research scholarships program for foreign students (DE) aimed at foreign students who had been preselected by a Québec university and who wish to carry out their doctoral studies in the natural sciences, mathematics and engineering fields.

2. Study In Canada: Algonquin College Undergraduate Scholarship

Application Deadline

For Winter 2017 intake; October 30th, 2016

Applications are currently ongoing for the 2017/2018 Algonquin College Undergraduate Scholarship for international students who wish to study in Canada.

This scholarship will be for first-year, first-term post-secondary international students based on Academic merit.

Algonquin welcomes highly qualified students from around the world. This scholarship is meant to reward those applicants who have above average grades and English language proficiency.

3. 167 Vanier Canadian Graduate Scholarships At The University of Alberta

Application Deadline

November 2, 2016

VCS supports students who demonstrate both leadership skills and a high standard of scholarly achievement in graduate studies in social sciences and humanities, natural sciences and engineering, and health.

The scholarship is worth $50,000 per year for three years and is available to both Canadian and international PhD students studying at Canadian universities.

Nominating institutions are encouraged to consider diversity in discipline, gender, official language, and citizenship when considering which applicants to nominate for the Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships (Vanier CGS) program.

4. University of Alberta Doctoral Recruitment Scholarships In Canada

Application Deadline

For students with a January 1, 2017 start date, the deadline is November 1, 2016.

Applications are currently ongoing for the University of Alberta Doctoral Recruitment Scholarships. FGSR is pleased to announce details about the 2016 University of Alberta Doctoral Recruitment Scholarships.

The FGSR Recruitment Scholarships attract the best and brightest students to the University of Alberta.

Departments may choose to nominate individuals based on a variety of criteria including academic record, letters of appraisal, statement of program, applicant’s research, potential contributions to research, and other technical experience.

5. Humber College Canada International Student Scholarships – Apply

Application Deadline

September 30, 2016.

Applications are currently ongoing for the 2017/2018 Humber College Canada International Student Scholarships. All new international students, studying in an academic program are eligible to apply for the following scholarships.

The scholarships are divided throughout The University’s three semesters each year. Applications will be considered based on academics, community involvement, referee/reference letters and statement of interest.
