Monash University Malaysia is inviting applications for the higher degree by research (HDR) pathway scholarships for international applicants. Scholarships are available to undertake all honours degree courses and master degree programs at Monash University Malaysia.
The aim of the Higher Degree by Research (HDR) Pathway Scholarships is to enable and encourage academically able international students.

Applicants must meet the minimum admission requirements (academic and English language proficiency) for the course. Sound English language skills are required for all academic programs at Monash.
Course Level: Scholarships are available to undertake all Honours degree courses and master degree program at Monash University Malaysia.
Study Subject: Scholarships are offered to different departments across the University, all offering a diverse range of courses and in Biomedical Science for masters level .
List of Subjects: All courses (Honours) and Biomedical Science (Masters)
Scholarship Award: Each scholarship covers 100% or partial of the tuition fees for the duration of the course.

Applicants with a distinction average in a prior study from a recognized university and meet all other entry requirements are eligible to apply for the Scholarships. Selection of the scholarship will be based on academic achievement for each discipline as determined by Monash University Malaysia.
Nationality: International students can apply for these scholarships.
College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirement: Applicants must meet the minimum admission requirements (academic and English language proficiency) for the course.
Test Requirement: No
English Language Requirements: Sound English language skills are required for all academic programs at Monash. Applicants can demonstrate their English language proficiency through one of the following:
- Studying English at Year 12 or equivalent
- Studying at an institution where English is the language of instruction
- English Proficiency Tests
- Monash English Bridging.
- If applicants achieved more than one of the English language requirements over a period of time, only the most recent demonstration of English proficiency will be considered.
How to Apply: Interested candidates must apply to the Course Management Office, Monash University Malaysia. All applications consistent with the eligibility and selection criteria will be considered for a scholarship. If they are applying online, their supporting documents must be in electronic format. Make sure they have:
- A valid email address
- Application checklist
- Course details (title and course code) for their chosen course
- Their official, certified academic transcripts
- Evidence that applicants meet the English language requirements
- Official documents that support any application for credit for prior learning
- An official, certified translation for any documents in a language other than English.
Application Deadline: Application deadline is 5 August 2016 for international applicants and 14 October 2016 for Malaysian applicants.
