  • Using Lens Formula,
    1/f = 1/u + 1/v
    u=15cm, v=5cm
    Since it is a convex lens, the focal length must be -ve
    ∴1/f = 1/u—1/v =>1/15–1/5
    1/f = (1–3)/15
    f = 15/—2 = –7.5cm
