    According to the rule of Concord, the noun that comes before words such as: as well as, alongside with, together with and so on, determines the verb that follows
    "The man" is singular there for the verb that follows after must be a singular verb, "dares".
    But if it's a plural noun, E.g
    The women as well as there kids "dare"
