    CaCO3 + 2HCl ---> CaCl2 + H20 + CO2
    0.0075 + 0.015---> X of the gas CO2
    (1 mole of CaCO3+2mole of HCl = 3mole of solution) --->22400cm3 of the gas CO3

    :- 0.0075+0.015=(0.0225)--->x
    3---->22400
    X = (22400 x 0.0225)/3
    =504/3 = 168cm3
    ;- volume of the gas CO2 = 168cm3

  • CaCO₃ + 2HCl ➣ CaCl₂ + H₂CO₃
    Mole of HCl is twice that of CaCO₃.
    Mole of HCl = 0.015mol
    ∴ Mole of H₂CO₃(gas evolved) = (Volume/22400cm³ )
    at S.T.P
    (1/2)(0.015) = Volume of H₂CO₃
    -------------------------
    22400
    Volume = 168cm³
