    Hypermetropia—Long Sighted
Hypermetropia is where the eye is too short in the antero-posterior direction. When the eye is at rest, the objects further away will be focussed behind the retina. When this happens, the ciliary muscles contract to allow the lens to become more convex, helping it to focus on the object.
