WAEC May/June 2014 result has been released following the statistics that were released. The West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) has released the result of all candidates that wrote 2014 WAEC May/June. Candidates can now check their result from WAEC official portal. Presently, one might encounter difficulty in checking result due to the amount of traffic received by the website. If you’re unable to check it now, you can try checking it at night when the traffic will be less.

How to Check WAEC 2014 May – June Result Online

1. Buy WAEC scratch card from any Banks, Post Office, Authorized Dealers and WAEC office nearest to you in your area.
2. Go to WAEC result checking official portal at www.waecdirect.org
3. Enter your center number and seat number in the required space. Your registration should look like this: 4310963***.
4. Select the year you sat for the exam i.e. 2014.
5. Select your exam type i.e. May/June.
6. Finally, enter your scratch card pin and serial number in the required space and then click submit to view your result.

About WAEC:

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) is an examination board that conducts the West African Senior School Certificate Examination, a University entry examination in West African countries. Established in 1952, the council has contributed to education in Anglophonic countries of West Africa (Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Liberia, and the Gambia), with the number of examinations they have coordinated, and certificates they have issued. They also formed an endowment fund, to contribute to the education in West Africa, through lectures, and aid to those who cannot afford education.

Dr. Adeyegbe, HNO of WAEC Nigeria (2004) said “the council has developed a team of well-trained and highly motivated staff, and has administered Examinations that are valid and relevant to the educational aspirations of member countries”. In a year, over three million candidates registered for the exams coordinated by WAEC. The council also helps other examination bodies (both local and international) in coordinating Examinations.
