FUOYE Commencement of Registration for Fresh Candidates.

This is to inform the newly admitted candidates (fresher) that FUOYE registration commences between Monday 1st and Friday 12th December 2014.

Please note that registration shall not be allowed after the expiration of the stipulated period.

Failure to register within the approved period amounts to forfeiture of your admission.

Returning students are also expected to pay their sundry fees for 2014/2015 Academic Session on or before Friday, 28th December, 2014

Kindly comply and complete your registration within the approved period as no extension will be granted after the deadline. Please, visit the University website www.fuoye.edu.ng and www.registry.fuoye.edu.ng for further information.

About Federal University Oye (FUOYE)

Federal University Oye, Ekiti, located within Oye community, was one of the nine Federal Universities established by the Federal Government of Nigeria, pursuant to an executive order made by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR.  Federal University Oye-Ekiti, whose pioneer Vice Chancellor, is Professor Chinedu Ostadinma Nebo, OON, has two campuses at Oye-Ekiti and Ikole-Ekiti with 4 Faculties and 27 Departments. History

The pioneer Vice-Chancellor, Federal University, Oye-Ekiti, Professor Chinedu Nebo, was recently appointed Minister of Power by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR. Consequently, Professor Isaac Uzoma Asuzu was appointed Vice Chancellor of FUOYE in his place.

The new Vice Chancellor arrived FUOYE on Wednesday, February 27th 2013. As a very courteous citizen, and with a burning zeal to have a first-hand assessment of the task ahead, embarked on courtesy visits of the campuses of the University as well as the traditional rulers of the host communities of Oye and Ikole.

The journey started as early as 10am with the first port of call being the Oloye’s Palace located within the Oye town. On the Vice Chancellor’s entourage were the Ag. Registrar, Mr. Daniel Adeyemo, The Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Professor Chris Bolu, the University Librarian, Mr. Michael Afolabi, the Director, Information and Protocol, Dr. Ojiaku Kalu, and head of Personnel, Mr Ayodele Fatuuase. Of course, the VC was accompanied on the visit by his beautiful wife, Mrs Chiwe Asuzu.
