JAMB’s New Admission Cut-Off Mark: See People’s Reactions on Social Media



The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) shocked many Nigerians when it was announced that the admission cut-off mark has been reduced to minimum of 120 for universities. Many admission seekers see this as good news even though JAMB has stated that the cut-off mark doesn’t mean that once you have 120, you are good to go.     This Is Rediculous, We Dont Know Where Are We Heading To Is Our Education Standard Going High Or Low. In The Whole World There Is No Where They Wrote And Exams And Consider 25% As Pass Mark. Are We Looking For Quality Or Quantity.

    what jamb did is acceptable because if schools accept 120 as cutoff mark,it doesn’t matter how low it is ,the school itself will set their own marks at the post utme.it depend on how the student perform in the post utme that will determine the admission .so I don’t find it unacceptable.
