WHAT IS AMEXCID?
The Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID) is an agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE). Founded on September 28, 2011 , it has specific responsibilities to address issues related to the International Development Cooperation.
Guide, coordinate and implement the exercise of the Mexican policy of international cooperation for development, in accordance with national priorities for sustainable human development.
Accredit the AMEXCID as a useful institution and the promotion of sustainable human development, through the exercise of effective international cooperation because of its administrative management, innovative sense of purpose and meaning in the art.
About the 2016 Mexican Government Scholarships for International Students:
Criteria for Eligibility:
The Scholarship program requirements for all applicants include:
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD Degree, as required by the program for which the scholarship is requested.
• Minimum grade point average of eight (8.0) on a scale of 0 to 10, or the equivalent, for the last academic degree received.
• Be accepted to or currently enrolled in a program at one of the participating Mexican institutions.
Fields of Study:
The following institutions and academic programs are included at this link. The following academic programs are NOT eligible for scholarships: business administration, plastic surgery, accounting, marketing, dentistry and advertising, and related areas.

Value of Scholarship/Inclusions:
The scholarship includes monthly stipend, registration fees and tuition, health insurance, round-trip international airfare, and transportation to and from Mexico City.

No applications will be accepted directly from the applicants. The entire scholarship application process must be done at the Mexican or concurrent embassy for the applicant’s country.

Applications for the scholarships will be accepted until 31 August 2015.
